Councillor Alan Lawson reported that a Langfield resident had not been consulted by Burnley Borough Council's Planning Department about a large extension on Inchfield.
The extention affects light to the property as the map used by the planning department was incomplete and an officer counted the houses in the wrong direction when determining which properties to be consulted.
The parish clerk is to request the department to use an updated map to avoid providing poor service to their residents in future.
