A MAN had to be freed from his car after an accident on the M6 southbound carriageway in the early hours of this morning (Saturday).
The incident happened between junctions 33 and 34 just after 5am when fire crews at Lancaster were called out to the scene.
The victim had to be released from using ''holmatro' cutting equipment and he was taken by road ambulance to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
