BLACKBURN Drama Club's outrageous comedy Fur Coat and No Knickers' centres round the wedding of Deirdre Ollernshaw and Mark Greenhalgh and is racy, irreverent and definitely tongue-in-cheek.
Among the cast is Terry Barber who will notch up a half-century of appear-ances with the drama club, after joining in 1958.
Since his first production, Sailor Beware,' he has acted, directed and compered hundreds of plays, musicals and charity shows, as well as producing and appearing in many pantomimes.
He said: "I've got a cracking part in this show, playing Nip, a randy granddad and I hope the opportunity will be there to complete my 50th very special year in 2008."
Directed by Paul Mason, the production runs at Thwaites Empire Theatre, from Wednesday, March 7 to Saturday, March 10. Tickets are £7. Theatre box office is on 01254 680137.
