Victoria Beckham has revealed she barely gets recognised, when she runs errands on the high street.
The Spice Girl and fashion designer admitted she often swaps her heels for flat shoes when she is out and about, and prefers to keep a low profile, as she graced the front cover of Vogue Australia.
“A lot of people probably don’t even notice me. I’ll dash around Marks and Spencer in my flat shoes, head down, with a shopping basket,” she said.
“Occasionally, at the checkout, a cashier will say: ‘You look just like Victoria Beckham’.”
Mother-of-four Victoria, who recently celebrated her 16th wedding anniversary with husband David, said she doesn’t mind doing those jobs herself rather than handing it over to an assistant.
“I like doing those kinds of things. That’s how our entire weekends are taken up, really,” she revealed.
“Sometimes when I’m screaming at them to do their homework or clean their teeth, I say, ‘Mummy was a pop star once’. ‘Mummy was somewhat cool!’” she joked.
