Zoe Saldana and Zachary Quinto have given film fans a sneak peek of Star Trek 3.
The duo, who will reprise their roles respectively as Lieutenant Nyota Uhura and Commander Spock in the third instalment of the rebooted franchise, shared photos of their characters on set.

Zachary posted a photo of himself as Spock, writing: “Someone is preparing to emerge.”
Chris Pine and Simon Pegg will also return for the third film, titled Star Trek Beyond, which Justin Lin will direct and is being written by Simon and Doug Jung.
Bryan Cranston and Idris Elba had been in talks to play the villain in the movie, while Kingsman: The Secret Service actress Sofia Boutella is one of the newcomers to the cast.
Filming on Star Trek Beyond has begun, with a planned cinema release in July 2016, in time for the franchise’s 50th anniversary.
