Stars such as Simon Cowell and David Beckham have taken to social media as they celebrated Father’s Day.

X Factor judge Simon shared a photo of him cuddling up to his one-year-old son Eric, before adding a picture of him rummaging through his wallet.

Ex-England footballer David posted an image of him wearing a bracelet with the word “Daddy” spelt out in beads.

“‘Lead with Love’ the perfect Father’s Day gift,” he wrote.

Justin Timberlake and Ryan Reynolds were among the dads enjoying their first Father’s Day, and both shared their joy on Instagram.

Justin, who is dad to two-month-old son Silas Randall with wife Jessica Biel, wrote: “FLEXIN’ on Fathers Day… #HappyFathersDay to ALL of the Dads out there from the newest member of the Daddy Fraternity!! – JT.”

Ryan’s wife Blake Lively posted a photo of the actor with their six-month-old daughter James.

She wrote: “Happy Fathers Day!!! … @vancityreynolds Since the day our baby was born, I’ve felt so strongly in my heart that you were most likely the father. #ILoveYouSoMuchItsSilly”

Troubled rapper Chris Brown appeared to show that fatherhood has made him turn over a new leaf, as he posted photos of himself with his daughter Royalty.

Kim and Khloe Kardashian, along with their step-sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner, showed their love for Bruce Jenner, who has transitioned into Caitlyn Jenner.

Sharing a picture of Kylie and Kendall alongside parents Kris and Bruce, Kylie wrote: “Happy Father’s Day my little light of sunshine. ‘You can still call me dad, Kylie. No matter what I’m always going to be your father. That’s never going to change’.”

Kendall wrote alongside the photo: “My whole life this soul was my daddy and just because your appearance is different now doesn’t mean you were any less of a father to me my entire life.

“Happy Father’s Day to the person who raised me, and taught me everything I know, my hero.”

Gwyneth Paltrow remembered her dad Bruce, while Meadow Walker offered a tribute to her father Paul Walker.

Alongside the picture, Iron Man actress Gwyneth wrote: “A friend once said to me right after my father died, ‘everyone has a father, but not everyone has a daddy’. Brucie, you were both.

“To say that I miss you is an understatement. Happy Father’s Day to you, wherever you are. You were the best of the best.”

Gwyneth didn’t leave out her ex-husband Chris Martin with a photo of the Coldplay frontman with their eldest daughter Apple, writing: “Nothing like father/daughter love. Happy Father’s Day to you, CAJM. Here is to all the engaged and present fathers, you create a backbone for society. We honour you all today.”

Mariah Carey showed there was no ill will between her and ex-husband Nick Cannon, as she posted a picture of their four-year-old twins, Monroe and Morocco.
