Fashion Police is heading into the next generation – late host Joan Rivers’ daughter Melissa is set to take her place on the show.
Melissa, who will continue as executive producer on her mum’s former series, will now double up as co-host alongside Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski according to E!, which airs it.
She will join the line-up when the celebrity fashion critique series returns this summer.
In a statement, E! channel executive Jeff Olde said that as an original producer with the show, Melissa helped create its blend of fashion and comedy.
Melissa’s mother, comedian Joan Rivers, died in September aged 81 after complications from minor throat surgery.
Kathy Griffin joined Fashion Place as co-host earlier this year but left after seven episodes, saying it didn’t fit with her kind of comedy.
Fashion Police will return for six episodes starting on August 31.
