Famous faces including Damian Lewis and Ant and Dec have donned their finery and placed their bets as they attended the first day of Royal Ascot 2015.
Showbiz royalty was joined by the real thing, as the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, their children and their grandchildren attended the prestigious racing event.
And rumours began to circulate that there may soon be another addition to their family, as photos of Zara Phillips sparked speculation that she may be pregnant.
The Queen’s granddaughter was snapped touching her stomach, although she could just have been smoothing down the creases in her shift dress.
Zara, 34, married to former rugby star Mike Tindall and already a mum to one-year-old daughter Mia, was seen cheering on the riders in the St James Palace Stakes at the Berkshire racecourse.
Eton-educated actor Damian, star of Wolf Hall and Homeland, looked at ease in his top hat, which didn’t seem out of place with the moustache and sideburns he is sporting for his latest stage role in American Buffalo.
He was joined at Ascot by his actress wife Helen McCrory and co-star John Goodman.
Damian, who has recently been touted in the media as the next James Bond, was even asked to present a trophy on the first day of this year’s racing.
TV’s favourite duo Ant and Dec made it a foursome as they double-dated with Ant’s wife Lisa Armstrong and Dec’s fiancee Ali Astall.
And Danielle Lineker brought some understated glamour to the proceedings as she attended the races with her sports presenter husband Gary.
