Pharrell said he was “very excited” to play at the Isle of Wight festival before taking to the main stage to wow crowds yesterday.
Chatting before his performance, Pharrell said he was “happy” (someone get the guy a thesaurus ASAP, he needs a fair few more adjectives in his repertoire) to be at the historic festival, headlined by legend Jimi Hendrix 45 years ago.
The Blurred Lines hitmaker gushed over the rock superstar and said: “It’s intimidating, but it’s awesome to be anywhere near anything that he’s graced and made legendary.”
“We were here years ago with N.E.R.D, so to be able to come back is great.”
