Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant have been transformed into full period glory for their new film, Florence Foster Jenkins.
The Oscar-winning actress will warm up her vocal cords to star as New York heiress and socialite, who dreamt of becoming an opera singer, despite her awful voice.
Hugh plays Florence’s supportive husband and manager St Clair Bayfield in Stephen Frears’ comedy, which is currently shooting in the UK.
Written by Nicholas Martin, Florence Foster Jenkins also stars The Big Bang Theory’s Simon Helberg, Rebecca Ferguson and Nina Arianda.
The film’s release date is yet to be announced.
