Mila Kunis has spoken out to deny claims she stole a chicken from another child when she was growing up in the Ukraine.

The 31-year-old actress and her husband Ashton Kutcher took to social media to stream a live video, obtained by TMZ.com, ridiculing singer Kristina Karo’s lawsuit, suing Mila for allegedly stealing her beloved pet chicken 25 years ago.

Ashton and Mila both struggled to keep a straight face as they discussed the alllegations, pointing out Kristina – who is currently promoting her new single Give Me Green Card – would have been one month old at the time she claims the theft took place.

Mila joked she was “devastated,” and “weeping” after finding out Kristina was suing her for 5,000 dollars (£3335) for emotional distress and therapy bills.

The Jupiter Ascending star also said she was considering countersuing because after watching Kristina’s music video, “my body hurts, my eyes hurt, they’re burning, that requires money”.

She added: “I would never steal someone else’s chicken.”

Ashton said: “I believe this woman, I’ve known her a long time, I believe she’s an ethical person. So here you have it, right from the chicken’s mouth.”

According to a claim filed in Small Claims Court in Los Angeles on Monday, Kristina is seeking damages “due to isolation for the loss of her chicken pet Doggie.” She added that, “upon arriving in the US and seeing [Mila] in person, more therapy was needed due to emotional abuse.”
