The Happy Mondays have confirmed dates for an 18-night tour kicking off in November.

The tour celebrates the 25th anniversary of their album Pills ‘N’ Thrills And Bellyaches.

The band confirmed they will be performing the album in its entirety, and will also perform other hits.

Happy Mondays frontman Shaun Ryder said: “Great to be doing 25 years of Pills ‘N’ Thrills… Here’s to another 25 years. I’m going to remember it this time.

“There’s some really great work on Pills ‘N’ Thrills… It was the album that put us on Top Of The Pops.”

The album spent 31 weeks on the UK albums chart.

The tour kicks off on Thursday November 5 at the O2 Guildhall, in Southampton, and ends on December 10 with a performance at Dublin’s Vicar Street.

Ticket pre-sale starts tomorrow and general sale starts on Friday.
