Madonna’s new Ghosttown video was meant to debut on live streaming app Meerkat yesterday but fans were left bitterly disappointed when they saw an error message instead of the highly-anticipated video.
Now 24 hours on, Madonna’s back in her fans’ good books as the video debuted on Meerkat as well as YouTube.
The video is set in a post-apocalyptic town, aka, Ghosttown, and the 56-year-old pop star is seen seeking comfort in the arms of Terrence Howard, who stars in Fox’s TV show Empire.
The pair are seen in an intense passionate dance before another survivor – a young child – appears at the end, in the video directed by Jonas Akerlund, who’s resume includes Madonna’s Ray Of Light and Music videos.
If you are interested in behind-the-scenes making of the video, you can log onto Tidal – a new streaming service owned by Jay Z.
But for now, it’s time to watch Ghosttown, which features in Madonna’s latest album Rebel Heart, to your hearts’ content.
