Jermain Jackman has just released his debut album – and he’ll be hoping to see better figures by the end of the week.
According to the Daily Mirror, the R’n’B singer is at Number 44 in the midweek charts.
But it’s hoped the figures for the self-titled album will increase dramatically once digital sales come into play.
Jermain has sold 613 physical copies of the single so far, the newspaper says.
Previous winner Andrea Begley’s debut reached number seven in the album charts, while 2012 victor Leanne Mitchell was a flop.
The semi final of the current BBC One series – featuring coaching panel will.i.am, Rita Ora, Sir Tom Jones and Ricky Wilson – airs this weekend.
