Orlando Bloom has travelled to Liberia in the wake of its battle against Ebola.
The Hollywood star visited over four days in his role as a Goodwill Ambassador for Unicef.
“Everyone I met was determined to beat Ebola so that they can resume their normal lives,” the Pirates of the Caribbean star said.
Orlando called for more help for the African country, in rebuilding health and education services and supporting communities.
He read to schoolchildren, administered a polio vaccine, joined a youth theatre programme and spoke to parents affected by the outbreak.
The Hobbit star became a Unicef Goodwill Ambassador in 2009 and previously travelled to Jordan to meet children and families impacted by the Syrian crisis.
Liberia is among countries in West Africa affected by the worst outbreak of the Ebola virus in history.
