So just what might take personal trainer and gym owner Kal Nazir away from Weatherfield?
We’ve come up with a few ideas. And they’re certainly fantastic.
1. Kal will catch a rare new form of bird flu from his dad’s chickens
2. Kal will suffer an unfortunate incident on one of the treadmills at his gym
3. Kal will be electrocuted by the dodgy chip fryer at the kebab shop below girlfriend Leanne Tilsley’s flat
4. Kal will be bumped off and his body found in the gym’s sauna – Leanne’s ex Nick Tilsley and daughter Alya’s quick-tempered boyfriend Gary Windass will be suspects
5. Kal will elope with Mary Taylor in her mobile home after getting sick and tired of his moaning son Zeedan and nagging mum Yasmeen
6. Kal will meet a gorgeous ballroom dancer and tango off to that London with her (soaps are like real life, you know)
7. Kal will go and open a gym in Portugal, after Katy Armstrong tells him what a great place it is
8. Kal will be recalled to Albert Square to work as a GP as his EastEnders alter-ego Dr Fred Fonseca
9. Kal will expand his gym empire to Emmerdale and Hollyoaks, thus earning Jimi a full house of British soap appearances.
