Will Smith has revealed that seeing his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith star in Magic Mike XXL is “awkward”.
The Focus star, who has been married to Jada for nearly 20 years, admitted he finds it tough to come to terms with her role in the sequel, alongside “a whole bunch of naked men” including Channing Tatum, Joe Manganiello and Adam Rodriguez.
“It’s just awkward,” he told Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show.
The follow-up continues the story of male stripper Magic Mike, played by Channing, and sees the male dancing troupe reunited for a convention.
Will, 56, added: “So everywhere I go there’s someone who’s been in their underwear with my wife. It’s just awkward.”
Amber Heard, Elizabeth Banks and Andie Macdowell also star in Magic Mike XXL, which opens in UK cinemas on July 31.
