Luke Evans is in talks to join action-thriller Message From The King.

The Dracula Untold and Hobbit star is in negotiations to play a Beverly Hills cosmetic dentist in Fabrice Du Welz’s film, said the Hollywood Reporter.

Teresa Palmer and Alfred Molina could also be joining the cast as a drug-addict mother-of-one and a Hollywood producer respectively, which Chadwick Boseman is already on board for.

The film, which will start shooting in Los Angeles in March, tells the story of a man from South Africa, who heads into the Los Angeles underworld so he can avenge his sister and rescue her stepson.

Meanwhile, Arrested Development actor Tony Hale has been cast as the villain in Alvin And The Chipmunks: The Road Chip.

The 44-year-old star, best known for playing Buster Bluth in the US sitcom, joins Jason Lee, Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler and Jesse McCartney in the fourth instalment of the live-action and animated series, reported Variety.

Walt Becker will direct the movie, which will be released in UK cinemas on February 2016.

In other casting news, Willem Dafoe is headed to action-drama Great Wall with Matt Damon.

Zhang Yimou will take the reins on Legendary’s retelling of the origin of China’s landmark site, which is hoping to start production in April, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Willem’s role is being kept under wraps in the story about a group of mercenaries attacked by mythical beasts after they travelled to China to bring gunpowder back to Europe.
