Jack O’Connell might be heading to the North East for his next movie if the Bafta-nominated actor has any say in his next career move.
As he walked the red carpet at tonight’s Bafta awards ceremony at the Royal Opera House in London’s Covent Garden he was interviewed by Zoe Ball for the Bafta live stream.
Picking up from a Twitter Q&A, Zoe asked Jack what was next for the young star, and who he would most like to play in a movie.
Without breaking a sweat Jack responded “Paul Gascoigne”, before adding: “I know all the words to Fog On The Tyne.”
Now Jack as Gazza – that’s something we want to see.
Jack is nominated in the Bafta Rising Star category and is up against Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Margot Robbie, Miles Teller and Shailene Woodley. It is the only award at the ceremony voted for by the public.
