Louie Spence has said former rugby star Mike Tindall was shocked to lose out to him in the first round of The Jump.
Flamboyant dancer Louie has since been eliminated from the Channel 4 winter sports show, as Mike got his revenge in the Snow Cross event, before the former Dancing On Ice judge was narrowly beaten by JB Gill in The Air Jump eliminator.
But Louie earlier caused something of a shock when he beat ex-international sportsman Mike in the Skeleton Run.
Louie said: “He took it like a sportsman but I think he was gutted.
“We are yin and yang, chalk and cheese, and I don’t think he would have ever expected me, doing my high kicks beforehand… that I’d actually beat him.”
The TV personality said he had a sore neck and a bruised back but that “everyone is battling through this with some kind of injury”.
And he said that he had no regrets.
“I learnt to ski and got a whole new wardrobe. What more could I ask for?”
He added: “I’ve got the rest of the week to spend around Innsbruck. It’s not Bond Street – but it’s a nice town.”
