Mark Ronson has revealed he is dedicating his latest album to his late friend Amy Winehouse.

The 39-year-old producer and musician worked with Amy on both her own and his albums before her untimely death, aged just 27, in July 2011.

Mark took to social media to reveal he was offering his latest album, Uptown Special, as a tribute to Amy.

Mark also dedicated the record to Teenie Hodges, a much respected US musician who died, aged 68, in June 2014, and DJ Mehdi, a French hip hop and house producer, who died in September 2011, aged 34, when the skylight of his Paris home collapsed during a party.

Mark and Amy became close friends after he produced much of her hit album Back To Black and she also collaborated with him on his own music, most famously hit 2007 single Valerie, a cover of The Zutons’ track.
