Victoria Beckham reveals producers used to turn her mic OFF during Spice Girls shows

And it seems like she wasn’t the only one as she admitted that sound engineers used to switch off her microphone during Spice Girls concerts so she couldn’t be heard.

Speaking to Claudia Winkleman at the Vogue 100 event at the National Portrait Gallery on Thursday, The Sun reports she said: “They used to turn it off and just let the others sing.

“I got the last laugh – and now my mic is well and truly on, finally.”

While Emma Bunton, Mel C, Mel B and Geri Haliwell might have had the better voices, Vic wasn’t pulling any punches about their dress sense.

She said: “I was always the one that loved fashion and it was quite a result for me because the girls always used to get their clothes for free because they were crap and so there was a lot of budget for me to have my little Gucci dress.”

Known for her little black dresses and sky-high heels when she went by the name Posh Spice, Vic revealed that she was actually the mum of the band.

“When all the other girls were being fun and spontaneous and jumping on tables, I was always the one checking the table wasn’t going to collapse. I was always the sensible one.

“Luckily because I used to wear heels, I just used to jig about a bit and I got away with it but it never came easily. I was always much more reserved than the other girls.”

Vic, who posed for a snap with son Brooklyn in front of a picture of her pregnant with him, got a sneak preview at the exhibition celebrating 100 years of Vogue magazine.

She also talked to Claudia about her friendship with Tom Cruise and his visits to her design studio, plus revealing how she used to make Harper tap-dance for her seamstress while David laid out a buffet table.
