You don’t have to be a sports enthusiast to love the Super Bowl, film fans have a lot to be excited about.

Some huge new trailers dropped during the clash between the Caroline Panthers and the Denver Broncos, including this exciting first look at Matt Damon’s return to the role of Jason Bourne.

Matt looks ripped in shirtless fight scenes and appears to smash up cars on the Las Vegas strip in the 30 second teaser.

Another trailer to leave us breathless is the new Captain America: Civil War peek, which sees the Avengers lining up on different sides of a fight.

Paul Rudd is back as Ant-Man while Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man faces off against Chris Evans’ Captain. Scarlett Johansson is back as Black Widow, along with Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as Vision, Anthony Mackie (The Falcon) and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, as well as Chadwick Boseman’s first appearance as Black Panther

The new look at X-Men: Apocalypse gives Jennifer Lawrence the most screen time but also shows the return of Michael Fassbender and the arrival of Sophie Turner as Jean Grey.

The film also introduces villain Apocalypse, played by Oscar Isaacs, and his pal Psylocke, played by Olivia Munn, who hurtles out of a burning car in the sky.

Epic destruction was also the theme of the Independence Day: Resurgence trailer, which marked the return of Jeff Goldblum and the introduction of Liam Hemsworth.

The trailer opens with the strains of Star Spangled Banner and an aerial shot of a football stadium so it was a perfect fit for the Super Bowl.

The dulcet tones of Idris Elba, Ben Kingsley and Scarlett Johansson set pulses racing as we finally got a full trailer for live action version of The Jungle Book.

While the biggest names lend their voices to the animals in the film, newcomer Neel Sethi looks like he will be a promising Mowgli.

J.J. Abrams is not directing 10 Cloverfield Lane but he is producing it and it looks to be a sequel to his monster film Cloverfield.

The roar that terrifies Elizabeth Winstead and John Goodman sounds a lot like the creature from the first film too.

In a night of trailers for sequels, we also got a further look at Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows.

Megan Fox and Will Arnett are back with our favourite reptiles for further adventure and destruction.

With this many films to get excited about, it didn’t matter who won the game!
