Things can be tough when you’re a pop star on a world tour, especially if you are spending a lot of time apart from your loved ones.

For pop princess Ariana Grande, her journey from Calais to Dover turned into a rather traumatic experience, when she found out her beloved dogs Sirius and Toulouse couldn’t board the ferry in Calais after the authorities told her mother Joan they didn’t have the correct documents.

While the 21-year-old reunited with her pups soon after, we can totally understand what Ariana was going through.

The pint-sized singer, who has worked with dog charities in the past to help rescue dogs and been a dog lover for as long as we can remember, shares her home with six adorable dogs – and here’s everything you need to know about them.

Coco

This cute little dachshund-German shepherd with an adorable underbite is Ariana’s first dog.

Coco C. Suzy Grande is four years old and features regularly on the singer’s tweets and Instagrams. Apparently Ariana confessed she felt bad about giving her such a “basic dog name… the third most popular dog name on the planet”.

Toulouse

Toulouse, who was adopted from an animal shelter as a puppy two years ago, is Ariana’s second dog.

It seems the singer named her cute beagle chihuahua puppy after that ginger kitten from Disney’s The Aristocats (we wonder what Toulouse the dog would make of this?).

Ariana tweeted that she had “happy tears” when she brought Toulouse home. “I wanted him so bad & now he’s mine,” she wrote. “My heart is so full right now.”

Toulouse is in the UK right now and is travelling with Ariana and her Honeymoon tour crew – and it looks like she is thoroughly enjoying the pampered celeb lifestyle.

Ophelia

Ophelia is a chocolate labradoodle and the third dog to join the Grande household.

It is believed Ariana’s close friend Aaron Simon Gross is responsible for the dog’s old-fashioned name – and a Shakespearean character.

Ophelia is in charge of the combined Instagram account for Ariana’s pets “because the other puppies don’t know what they’re doing”.

However, this cute labradoodle is not as mature as you think. In fact, she did something rather naughty last year by peeing on the floor in Ariana’s house. The singer slipped on a puddle of Ophelia urine and ended up breaking three of her toes. Yikes!

Fawkes

Fawkes, a Shiba Inu, was adopted in Florida last year. Her full name is Fawkes Kitty and Ariana desribes her as “bad ass” (as if this innocent little pooch could actually do anything naughty – just look at her!).

“She’s got the fiercest, sweetest and most daring nature!” writes Ariana on Instagram, adding, “Constantly play fighting and wrestling with Toulouse even [though] she’s half his size.”

Awwww.

Cinnamon

Cinnamon is Ariana’s fifth dog and was adopted in December last year when she was just five months old. The Break Free singer promised to spoil her “unconditionally” after getting her from a rescue centre.

“She was found in a box on the side of the street a few months ago & has been living in a rescue ever since,” wrote Ariana. “Now she lives with me & my other babies! She will be safe, spoiled and loved unconditionally! Absolutely shatters my heart how somebody could toss an innocent creature aside like that.

“Nothing hurts my heart more. We love you so so much Cinnamon. Welcome to the Grande family my babe #adopt.”

Sirius

Sirius joined the ever-increasing Grande clan in January this year and Ariana shared her news of her latest arrival with the world by posting a photo of her four-legged friend writing: “Sirius Black newest member of the puppy posse … the puppy breath is out of this world. I am going to be the Edie Beale of dogs (sic).”

An avid Harry Potter fan, the dog is named after a character from JK Rowling’s hugely popular fantasy novels.

It seems Sirius has been living the high life with his superstar mum, travelling on private jets and staying in posh hotels in Europe.

He along with Toulouse, is accompanying Ariana on her world tour.
