EastEnders’ toughest hard men get off to a bad start for 2015 when they come to blows on New Year’s Day.
When Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) hears Nick Cotton has been making life difficult for his cousin Ronnie Mitchell, he goes round to confront him.
Ronnie is furious that criminal Nick (John Altman) is back in Albert Square hiding out from the police, and has been working on a plan to get him to leave and keep Walford a safe place for her family to live.
Cocky and conniving Nick tries to manipulate Phil by claiming that Ronnie is double-crossing them both.
But when he offers Phil a drink, Phil isn’t falling for it and throws it back in his face.
These scenes will air on New Year’s Day at 8.30pm.
