Daniel Radcliffe may be most famous as innocent wide-eye wizard Harry Potter - but he has admitted to having a filthy sense of humour.

The 25-year-old actor revealed how he had to make Juno Temple laugh for the first scene in their new film Horns - and he did it by telling her dirty jokes, of which he knows plenty.

Daniel revealed: "I've got a lot of bad one-liner jokes and I'm fortunate that Juno finds them funny as well.

"But we got like three or four takes in and I ran out of clean ones. And it's my first day on set, the crew don't know me and I start telling the worst, most horrible jokes in the world, and she was cracking up thankfully.

"The producers were all there and they had earphones on and they were all listening and I was like, 'I don't know any of you and I'm about start telling the worst, worst jokes'."

Daniel refused to reveal any of his dirty jokes, but insisted they can come in handy, as it is very hard to fake laughter, even for an actor.

He explained: "The first seen in the movie is me and Juno lying down together on this blanket in the woods and it's all very sweet and the stage direction is something like 'Merrin is laughing hysterically'. And I said to her before we started, 'Do you want to fake laugh or do want me to try and make you laugh?'

"And she said try and make me laugh, and fortunately she was really easy to make laugh."

Horror movie Horns is out on Wednesday October 29, 2014.
