Holly Willoughby has given birth to her third child - a boy named Chester.

The TV presenter confirmed the news on Twitter, writing: " I'm sooo happy to tell you all - we've just had a baby boy! Chester William Baldwin made a grand entrance at 8lbs 12. He's just perfect. X"

Chester is the 33-year-old's third child with husband Dan Baldwin after daughter Belle and son Harry.

Holly called up ITV show This Morning to tell her co-host Phillip Schofield and Amanda Holden, who is filling in for her, how she was feeling.

She said: "Good morning! I'm really good thank you very much. I'm very, very happy. We had a very exciting evening. I started having contractions at about 9am [yesterday morning] and they kind of lasted all day... and he arrived about 7.20pm."

Holly added: "And it was very different from my other two - I had a water birth which I never thought I'd do and that was amazing. And he was a really big boy - 8lbs 12oz! But he's perfect. He's so delicious, I can't stop looking at him.

"He's called Chester William Baldwin. It was a name we had for ages actually - when we had Harry, we were umming and ahhing over Chester or Harry... although they [Harry and Belle] met their brother today and Harry walked in and I said 'his name is Chester' and Harry said 'No, I want to call him Frank'... so it might be Frank!"

When asked if all were well at home, Holly said, "Everybody's absolutely fine - we're just in that lovely baby bubble and it's just wonderful and I can't wait for you to meet him. He's with me now and being very good."

Stars have sent their congratulations about the news, including Amanda.

She tweeted: " Congratulations and much love to @hollywills Dan Belle Harry and new baby Chester !!I'm delighted and thrilled!!"

The Saturdays singer Rochelle Humes said: "How lovely. Congrats to you and Dan."
