IT IS difficult to imagine the best comedy teams parted Cannon without his Ball, Eric without Morecambe and Laurel without Hardy.
This is the problem that faced Syd Little when his long-running partnership of Little and Large broke up.
But three years ago Syd started pushing a solo career playing his guitar and showing off his considerable vocal talents without Eddie Large constantly butting in.
The Borough, in Dalton Square, Lancaster, is show-casing Syd on May 25 with an After Dinner Event' for a limited audience in a private function room which seats just 50.
Being in show business for so long has given Syd a host of amusing stories to tell and a good comedy routine which is in great demand in theatres, on cruise ships and, of course, the after dinner circuit.
