WOULD-BE singing superstars are being offered 15 minutes of fame on stage as part of a touring show at the Lancaster Grand Theatre.

‘The Extra Factor’ will come to the city for three nights in September - and ‘star’ acts are needed to make it work.

For ‘The Extra Factor’ is a whole new theatre experience based on a little bit from every reality TV that ever was.

It has a remarkable celebrity cast including Antony Costa from Blue, Kelly Bryan from Eternal, Jennifer Biddall from Hollyoaks and Kevin Kenedy from Coronation Street.

But local people are needed to compete against the stars on stage – with auditions for an opportunity to join the show open now.

Anyone who fancies their chances simply has to make a video of themself singing one of the songs from a list provided on the website at www.extra-factor.com.

The video can then be uploaded onto the and registered, with the best performers being invited to audition for a panel of judges. The winners will perform in the real show.
