Midd face wipeout

MIDDLETON could have their entire record wiped out after quitting the North Lancashire League.

The Division Two outfit still have one game to play - but have informed the league that they are withdrawing.

The North Lancashire League management committee will meet on Monday to decide what action to take, meaning they could expunge Middleton's record or award the points from the outstanding game to Furness Rovers.
